Erinle's Notebook - Page 14...

Well, here is the first page of promised two - the 14th page from Erinle's notebook! :)
And this one looks like a door... the door to Erinle's house. It has a spooky little window and a small entrance for cats, caterpillars, evil goblins and other fairy folk. And it also has a warning note - beware of evil trees and vampire mushrooms, which certainly lure somewhere outside but definitely near the door...:)

Old wooden door, slightly coloured...:)

BEWARE!

One Busy Week and One Small Work Table...

Well, first of all - meet Orton the Swamp Wanderer! It took me 3 days to create this fabulous being and I think he is quite handsome... and quite green! :)  He inhabits the Mossy Swamp along with a few of his kind. This time I used a mixture of Cernit and Fimo Soft  upon a wire armature with some aluminum foil on it. The base is made from wood and decorated with fake moss and sea stones.

I had a busy week (personal issues), but still managed to visit some lovely places of my hometown just to celebrate the arrival of Spring...:) Here are some photos taken by me on that sunny days.

The Arcadia Park in Riga, Latvia

Lovely swans and ducks at the banks of the River Daugava in Riga, Latvia
I did not manage to create the 14th page from Erinle's notebook last week, so there will be two of them this friday! :)

My Work Table...

The 4th of May was simply amazing - I finally reached 75 sales (even 76)!
And Moomiel the Mummy has found a new home in lovely Montana, US...:D
And here are my last week creations...
Another Zombie Chef with freshly cooked brains and a little blue creature called Cody with a red velvet cupcake on his head... Yeah, my head is full of weird stuff! :)

Erinle's Notebook - Page 13...

Well the 13th page of Erinle's notebook is quite unusual... It's Erinle herself! :) I painted this years ago... And it was quite difficult for me to finally imagine properly Erinle's look. I am not good at painting people, so forgive me! :) She looks young but I doubt that... I think she simply hides her thousands of years under the thick layers of white paint on her face... But that just my thoughts! I would never dare to ask her about her age...:) I will print it and put in the notebook as the 13th page.

My Work Table...

Do you remember Mr. Groomby from the last week? Well, now meet his neighbours - Ms.Patricia Candyberg and Mr.Percival Lois! :) They make a perfect trio, don't they? :)
By the way, they are so-called River Folk... They inhabit the shores of the Crow River (you can see the map of Erinle's world here - just look at the last picture of the post)...
For creation I used my good old recipe:
Aluminum Foil Carcass + Polymer Clay + Acrylic Paints + Varnish = Unusual Creature

Erinle's Notebook - Page 12...

Beware of Evil Snails! They bite painfully! :)
This is the 12th page of Erinle's notebook... The weather is warm and sunny and Evil Snails are returning to Erinle's garden. They are mostly green with colourful shells...and they love to bite... They are simply biting champions! So please, be cautious while wandering through Erinle's garden...:)

Bite, bite...

...BITE! :)

My Work Table...

Last week I created now one of my favourite sculptures and called him Mr. Alistair Groomby! :) He was made from from blue coloured polymer clay (I rarely use coloured clay, this blue pack was laying in my supplies for centuries) over aluminum foil carcass. Then I painted him with the lime coloured acrylic paint and then with all others! :) I am really proud of him...

Stages of painting...
And this is Ladybug Totem... Four polymer clay ladybugs in pastel colours on a found sea stone! :) They will definitely bring up some extra luck this year!
